The HIVE Middle School Program

The H.I.V.E. Middle School Program is inspired by the research and practices of the most innovative middle schools across the nation.

• Self-directed projects designed to meet state standards for core subjects.

• Cross-disciplinary mentors and learning facilitators to guide students.

• Later start times to promote better sleep for adolescents.

• In-person meetings only three times per week for flexibility.

• Real-world projects that engage students in the community.

• Facilitated learning in essential areas like leadership, teamwork, collaboration, well-being, and personal finance.

The H.I.V.E. welcomes all students, including those aiming for high school and those preparing to enter the workforce successfully.

Students in The H.I.V.E. are full-time participants, taking core classes along with electives, working towards their middle school diploma.
