Prerequisites:   

Students must be 14 years 8 months of age by the first day of class to enroll in Segment 1.

​Michigan Dept of State system will reject students that are younger than required age and they will be removed from class.

Registration Instructions:
  • Course Features:
    • 24 hours classroom instruction
    • 6 hours behind the wheel
    • 4 to 6 hours of in-car observation​
  • Make Up Classes or Absences:
    • We do NOT encourage missing any classes.
    • No more than 2 class sessions should be missed which must be made up. Any more absences will results in dismissal and forfeit of money.
    • All make up classes need to be coordinated with the class instructor by student or parent. A make up session will be added on to the end of the class. ​
  • Register by completing the online registration form. 
  • Complete the necessary paperwork (outlined during registration),
  • Both Student and Guardian will need to review and sign by for first class
  • Pay for your class during registration or bring check or cash to first class
    • Check at the first class 
      • Please make checks out to "Drive America LLC"  and include the student's name in the memo line!
    • Cash at the first class 
      • Please bring cash in an envelope with the student's name to receive proper credit.  
    • ​Credit card through Online Checkout Terminal ​
      • Includes online processing fee. ​​​​
  • ​​You will receive a copy of all registrations to the parent email provided at registration. ​
  • Bring writing Utensil to classes.
  • Cost:  $510
